BNF Distribution

Distribution of the British National Formulary (BNF) to NHS Organisations

If you / your organisation has insufficient copies for their doctors, pharmacists, or for future updates to distribution details (for BNFs for Doctors and Pharmacists working in the NHS only), please contact as appropriate:

GPs in GP practices:

Sessional GPs (including Locum GPs):  As above

Community Pharmacies:
To obtain an extra copy for a large pharmacy, or a copy for a new pharmacy (as above.) Also for a new pharmacy, or to amend details for the future, please contact the RPSGB: registration@rpsgb.org (to ensure your distribution details are correct for future editions).

Also, for Pharmaceutical or Medical Advisers - please ensure the National Prescribing Centre has your latest contact details (we use their list for future editions)

Nurse Prescribers Please contact your local Non-Medical (or Nurse) Prescribing Lead

N.B. To buy extra copies of the BNF for staff other than Doctors, pharmacists or qualified Extended Formulary Nurse Prescribers in the NHS in England, please telephone: 01767 604800. (NHS organisations can still purchase extra copies of the BNF at half - price, for orders of 10 copies or more.)
