Developing new and existing Premises and 3 Yearly review of rent

Practices are advised to seek professional advice before embarking on scheme to develop practice premises whether using improvement grants, or seeking to use developers for new or improved premises.

The current arrangements for 3 yearly reviews are best dealt with by submitting your case for improved rent along with the PREM 1 form. The LMC advises the use of professional advisors that have specialist knowledge and experience that is specific to the Kent area.

Invicta Chartered Surveyors & BW Healthcare Surveyors are two companies who can advise upon all matters ranging from notional rent reimbursement, the value of the surgery for Partnership purposes to assisting with succession planning and advising upon such matters as sale and leaseback opportunities and premises development.
