Display Energy Certificates and Advisory Reports (Updated Jan 2016)

We understand that some practices nationally have not been made aware of the changes to the requirements to Display Energy Certificates (DEC) and Advisory Reports (AR). Previously public buildings of over 500sq/m faced this requirement. In July 2015 this was reduced to public buildings over 250sq/m.

Practices that are found not to comply risk a penalty of £500 per DEC and £1,000 per AR.
