Guides to Community Pharmacy and Pharmacy Regulations 2013

The BMA has produced two excellent documents in conjunction with the NHSE and PSNC. One is a Guide to GP Practices aimed at Community Pharmacists. The other is a Guide to Community Pharmacies for GPs.

Both are excellent summaries of how each business works in terms of funding, contracting , qualification and regulation. We would commend the Guide to GP Practices to newer GPs and registrars as it explains well the complexities of funding streams and contracting.
