Introduction of the Infanrix Hexa vaccination - November 2017
Date published: 20/11/2017
CQRS have confirmed that as indicator HEP003 is now paid within the Global sum of Childhood Immunisation Target payments, this indicator is no longer a payment mechanism on their system. As you are aware HEP002 and HEP003 were paid to practices at 2 x £9.80 upon the administration of HEP003. This will no longer be the case and practices will now be paid for the doses individually.
We have received a few queries regarding the difficultly in ascertaining which doses are the correct ones to claim for when downloading information from Clinical Systems. Within the attached Hexavalent combination vaccine guidance selective on page 6 is a table which should assist with this. For CQRS purposes indicators HEP001 is for birth, HEP002 is for 4 weeks and HEP004 is for 1 year.
If you have any concerns regarding these changes, please do not hesitate to contact us via this email address.
