We appreciate the creative energy of a newly qualified GP, but also recognise the value of a GP of many years experience.
Therefore we’d like to build the specifics of your job description with you in terms of sessions, hours and work based on you as an individual.
Our 4 partner practice has 3 GP trainers, so has a strong ethos of supporting training, and that includes supporting the career development of our salaried GPs to make this the role you want it to be.

Ivy Court Surgery has provided GP services to the market town of Tenterden from its current site since 1959 for a population of over 15,500 patients in the heart of rural Kent. Yet, our nearest town, Ashford, is just 38 minutes by High Speed Train from Central London.
A record of high achievement in QOF and standards of clinical excellence have been built out of that long history of traditional high quality patient care.
Ivy Court is keen to maintain the strengths of traditional General Practice whilst open to innovations (eg. exploration of the use of AI within Primary Care). We offer huge supportive operational, administrative, patient liaison and social prescribing teams as well as regular clinical, educational, palliative and vulnerable patient meetings and a well-established, highly functional PCN.
In February 2021 we opened our doors on our brand new, state of the art building offering the most refreshingly modern and exciting work environment available to GPs anywhere in Kent.
