Kingsnorth Medical Practice is seeking a friendly, motivated, responsible, conscientious and reliable Registered Nurse to join the nursing team. We are considering both full and part time applications to join our friendly practice.
Successful applicants will be willing to act within their professional boundaries, providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of general practice nursing to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a chronic condition, and the provision of preventative health care to the practice population. We would be particularly interested to hear from Nurses with an interest and/or experience in diabetic care.
As an autonomous practitioner the successful applicant will be responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the management of patients. In addition, they will work collaboratively within the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policies and procedures, and provide nurse leadership as required.
Kingsnorth Medical Practice is a training practice and the successful candidate will be involved in supporting student nurse training, as well as other training taking place within the Practice.
