Mediation & Counselling Services

We regret to inform you, despite the LMC’s best efforts, that contracts for both counselling and mediation lapsed and there are no immediate plans for these services to be commissioned by NHSE.

We have detailed below organisation who provide services to practices - please bear in mind practices will have to bear costs for these services.


Tony Hamlin Mediation is an independent provider of Mediation Services within Kent and London specialising in the resolution of conflicts in the NHS environment. In addition to mediation services within the NHS complaints process and the workplace, he provides a facilitation service which partnerships have found a useful support particularly during periods of change. An experienced and qualified trainer he delivers a wide range of courses and workshops including communication, leadership development, conflict management and team building.

Dover Counselling Centre

Dover Counselling Centre is a charitable organisation that offers an Employee Counselling Service for organisations that contract with us for their staff, as well as Training and Consultation to businesses and other agencies throughout Kent and beyond. The Centre offers both face to face and telephone counselling to staff who can contact us by telephone or email.

We are a service committed to promoting the physical, emotional and mental well being of our clients by providing professional health advice, counselling, coaching, training, consultancy and mediation services. We offer a proactive rather than reactive approach to staff welfare. Our specially designed Support Line Counselling packages allow flexibility when signing up to our full or ad hoc contracts to make sure you get the support you need and access to professional advice for your team. for details of the support line packages click here
