Suspension of Dr Manjula Arora

Kent LMC had added its voice to those dismayed by the treatment of Dr Arora by the Medical Practitioner Tribunal Service. It is concerned that the decision to suspend Dr Arora evidences that the GMC has failed to learn from the Dr Bawa-Garba case.

We have received responses to our letter from the GMC and the Professional Standards Authority. Our letter together with the responses are attached for your reference.

Although we are pleased to hear that there will be a review into the decision, we maintain our support for Dr Arora and hope that her suspension will be revoked without delay.
