The Meads Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an autonomous clinician to work within a progressive GP practice serving approximately 12,000 patients. The successful candidate will manage a varied clinical caseload, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with acute, chronic and complex health needs whilst working collaboratively alongside GPs, nurses and the wider healthcare team.
We welcome applications from ACPs from Nursing, Paramedic, Pharmacy and Allied Health Professional backgrounds who hold a recognised Advanced Clinical Practice qualification at Master’s level (or equivalent) and an Independent Prescriber qualification.
The role will include:
Same-day and urgent care appointments
Independent assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients
Clinical decision-making and risk management
Interpretation of investigations and diagnostic tests
Referral to secondary care and community services as appropriate
Participation in audit, quality improvement and clinical governance activities
Use of EMIS Web clinical systems
Previous General Practice experience would be advantageous, although applications from experienced ACPs working in other healthcare settings are welcomed.
