Experienced Healthcare Assistant
Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery and MPA Group Practices (Balmoral Gardens Surgery Green Suite, Iwade Health Centre, Princes Park Medical Centre, Sunlight Surgery and Twydall Surgery)
Salary: £12.83 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week

MPA Ltd is a GP Federation delivering multiple clinical services across Medway and Swale; this includes Primary Care Services at Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery and MPA Group Practices, Home Visiting Service and supporting PCNs with the delivery of Enhanced Access Hours.
Job summary:
MPA Group Practices and Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery is a well-established Primary Care business and we are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare to a 39,000 patient list size across the seven sites covering the Medway Towns and Swale region.
MPA are looking to recruit an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly nursing team, to work across the sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience in, but not limited to:
• New Patient Health Checks
• Basic BP
• Weight & Height checks
• Routine BP checks
• Health checks
• Flu & B12 (training can be given)
• Stock taking and administrative duties.
Additional clinical skills would be welcomed and fully utilised.
You will be working closely with salaried GPs; practice nurses; advanced nurse practitioners; Physician Associate; health care assistants; Podiatrists and Phlebotomists and administration staff including reception. We are friendly, approachable and supportive of our staff and encourage our staff to reach their full potential. We are keen increase out nursing team.
Essential – to have excellent IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office, patient /people skills along with an eye for detail and be prepared to be flexible being a key member of the clinical team influencing and developing the role. An understanding of the EMIS Web or similar clinical system is essential.
