We currently have part time Receptionist vacancy’s. This is an opportunity to join a multi-skilled reception team ensuring our patients are directed to the most appropriate professional for their needs using care navigation skills.
As a valued team member you will actively support the Doctors and the Practice by answering the telephone, dealing with patient queries and booking patient appointments. In addition to the normal Reception duties you will also provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Practice.
These roles require well presented individuals with a calm, methodical approach to work, the ability to deal empathically and professionally with the general public and a working knowledge of EMIS Web is essential, as is previous experience working within a Primary or Secondary care environment. Full training will be provided.
The successful applicants will be receptive to change, with excellent communication skills and have a ‘can-do approach’ to work. Primary care is constantly changing therefore the role will also need to evolve over time.
These roles will be subject to DBS vetting.
