Len Valley Practice is seeking a skilled, reliable and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our friendly and supportive nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established, busy GP practice where high standards of care, teamwork and patient experience are at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will provide a high-quality phlebotomy service to our practice population, running clinics across both our Lenham main site and our branch surgery at The Glebe Medical Practice in Harrietsham. You will work closely with our nursing, clinical and administrative teams to ensure patients receive a safe, efficient and compassionate service.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is confident, well organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking blood samples from patients of different age groups, ensuring samples are correctly labelled, handled and dispatched in line with laboratory and infection control standards, and accurately recording all activity on the clinical system. A strong focus on patient dignity, reassurance and consent is essential.
You will manage your own phlebotomy clinics while contributing to the wider work of the practice, including supporting service improvements, participating in training and helping to deliver seasonal vaccination programmes, including flu clinics. The role requires excellent communication skills, good IT skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.

The post is part time, working 8.15am to 2.15pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with the opportunity for additional hours from time to time to support service needs, including minor operations clinics and staff cover.
