We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse or a nurse looking to further develop their clinical skills within a busy GP practice.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to our patient population and work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
Essential Skills and Experience
Applicants must be competent and confident in delivering core Practice Nursing services, including:
Childhood immunisations and vaccinations
Cervical cytology (smear taking)
Complex wound care and dressings
Health promotion and preventative care
Infection prevention and control
Chronic disease monitoring and general nursing duties within primary care
Desirable Skills and Experience
Whilst not essential, we would welcome applications from nurses who have experience in or are interested in
developing their skills in:
Diabetes management and reviews
Asthma reviews
COPD reviews
Anticoagulation monitoring (INR clinics)
Spirometry

Experience:
