Len Valley Practice is a friendly, forward-thinking GP practice committed to providing high-quality patient care to our local community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and motivated Reception Supervisor to lead our reception team and support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy practice.
We are seeking a professional and compassionate Reception Supervisor with excellent communication, customer service, and organisational skills. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated reception team, ensuring patients receive a welcoming, efficient, and professional service while supporting the wider practice team.
The successful candidate will supervise the daily operation of the reception team, ensuring adequate staffing and workflow, providing guidance and support to colleagues, and acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day reception queries. You will also be responsible for assisting with staff training, conducting reception team meetings, supporting clinicians with administrative requests, and helping to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.
Applicants should have previous experience working in a reception, administration, or customer service environment, with supervisory or team leader experience being desirable. Strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and the confidence to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience within General Practice and knowledge of EMIS would be advantageous but are not essential.
