About Us: Reach Healthcare is a dynamic, multi-sited training practice with a patient list size of over 23,000 across locations in Walderslade, Lordswood, and Gillingham. Excitingly, we have plans to merge with a neighboring practice, which will significantly increase our practice list size to over 33,000, providing an excellent opportunity to expand our workforce and deliver high-quality proactive care.
Our practice currently comprises four GP partners leading a diverse clinical team, including salaried doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, paramedics, physician associates, pharmacists, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, GP assistants, and trainee nursing associates. We are also supported by a robust administrative team.

Job Opportunity: At Reach Healthcare, our appointment systems follow a comprehensive triage and digital front door approach. Our primary goal is to guarantee that patients receive timely and appropriate care from the right healthcare professional based on their clinical needs. The selected candidate will collaborate with the duty doctor to allocate appointments. Administrative triage skills will be utilisied to assess online submissions risk rated as lower priority by the Anima algorithm, the online consultation program used by the practice.
The post holder will be required to enroll in a general practice assistant course to supoprt their development within this role. Comprehensive mentoring will be available to support professional development.
