We’re an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Lead practice, based in Singlewell, Gravesend. We have an excellent team of dynamic and enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioners that we cannot manage without.
If you’re a go-ahead ANP looking for part time or fulltime role where you’ll go home on time you're more than welcome to touch base with us, have a nosey around and even better, speak to one of our ANP’s. You’ll benefit from the support and expertise of our in house Medicines Team and Pharmacist who will manage any medication issues. Our Care Coordinator’s will take on and manage all your social service and mental health referrals. You WON’T be doing any home visits, you WONT be dictating letters, you WONT be wading through reams of DOCMAN or PATHLINKS, you WON’T be embroiled in navigating complex referrals BUT you WILL get to enjoy your job and go home on time.
We’re always looking at trying new things – we recently campaigned to deliver Covid vaccinations from our Surgery with the help of volunteers provided by our local MP, and the feedback was excellent, see our Facebook page (https://fb.watch/4iZxs8uhYH/). We also developed and published our own Thermometer Chart in response to patients enquiring when their turn would come – just a few examples of going the extra mile and being more imaginative to help our patients.
As a result our practice is growing - quickly – our patients like our ANP lead care model and want to see it grow. Importantly, our pay matches our ambitions and is very competitive, especially for high calibre applicants.

- 9700 patients and expanding, modern single site surgery, Accredited Training Practice
- Option for Working From Home using teleworking
- Clinical skill mix consists of 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and 2 Partners, 2 Salaried General Practitioner’s
- EMIS Web clinical system, telephone triage, video consulting and computerized decision support
- Practice Pharmacist and Care Co-ordinators – No wads of prescriptions and no spending time on complex referrals.
- In house phlebotomy, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and event recording services
- We are a friendly and genuinely democratic (because even the ones that aren't say they are) and collegiate practice with a flat decision making approach (no seniority or hierarchy) strong governance framework with regular programmed Complex Case, Significant Events, Complaints and CQC meetings.
- We encourage extended interests, for example, our clinicians are Appraisers, Trainers, research editors for the BMJ, advisors to the MHRA and offer minor surgery and depot contraceptive services. We believe that ‘more is more’.
Recently graduated or experienced, you will be registered with the NMC, be an independent/supplementary nurse prescriber. Whether you can hold you won clinically is more important than whether you have a bit of paper e.g. an MSC/Post graduate diploma or equivalent. You'll hold advanced assessment skills which include history taking, clinical examinations, diagnosis and initiating programmes of care.
