Medway South PCN comprises of 5 practices working together serving a population of approximately 62,500 patients.

We have been working together prior to the formation of PCN's in 2019.
Our aim is always to provide a professional and caring approach to supporting our patients and the local community. As a valued team member you will work actively in collaboration with your clinical colleagues to ensure the smooth and effective running of the Practice.
This role requires a well presented individual who is calm and methodical in their approach to work. The successful candidate will need the ability to deal empathically and professionally with patients. They will be open to change, have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a ‘can-do attitude’ to work.
Job purpose
- To work as a member of the General Practice Nursing team, under the guidance of a Registered General Nurse, support the organisation and facilitation of clinical care in a holistic and proactive manner to patients registered at the practice.
- To maintain a high professional standard of nursing care in adherence to all Practice protocols/policies & guidelines, as well as to provide nursing assistance to the GPs and other members of the primary healthcare team.
- The role of the Nursing Associate needs to be flexible in line with the present atmosphere for change within the health service delivery. It is essential that the nursing associate works within their own level of competency and expand her/his role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
The PCN wholly supports professional development and will support the right individual in acquiring the right knowledge and skills to progress their career.
Salary will be determined dependent on skills and experience
The post will be subject to DBS vetting.
